I am three days post LASIK treatment and couldn’t be happier. The Wellington Clinic and Dr. Cummings came highly recommended from a friend, and from my very first consultation I knew I was in safe and expert hands. Dr. Cummings and the whole Team are so kind and caring, providing such a positive experience. The level of care and service from the very first phone call to the treatment itself and the aftercare is second to none. If you are considering Laser Eye Surgery, I couldn’t recommend this clinic more.
Dr arthur Cummings is absolutely brilliant he explains everything and answers all questions and his staff from the receptionists to all the staff that do all kinds of eye health checks to make sure that you can get the surgery are all 5 stars brilliant. I had lens replacement surgeon on my right eye on the 18th of aug and on my left eye on the 25th so far I couldnt be happier I know it all has to settle down and I'm only 2 day's since both eyes where done so I may come back and update this later but so far I'd definitely recommend getting lens replacement surgery and especially with the wellington eye clinic and Dr Arthur Cummings. I had originally thought I'll get the eyes checked and possibly go abroad to have the surgery but I'm glad i spent the xtra few euro getting it done in ireland, once I went to the wellington clinic i knew I had to stay with them and the knowledge of knowing the after care was here ...everything has been brilliant and I'm so glad I won't need glasses ever again !! I first attended The Wellington Eye Clinic with my young daughter several years ago and have since attended personally. My experience at the Wellington Clinic from start to finish was excellent. All the staff were so knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant.
From the first call it was professional. The receptionist was informative, knowledgeable and polite. When I arrived they had refreshments available which I happily enjoyed as I had driven up from Kerry. My apptm was to see if I was suitable for Laser eye. Unfortunately I wasn't but I was happy that after the tests I was told straight and it was explained clearly if I had it done I wouldn't get a perfect result. We went through all the different lenses to see what the result would be, but the doctor told me that none of there treatments would help me at this time. The doctor said that on 5 years time when my eyes had deteriorated more I should get them checked again.
The lovely ladies that work here are friendly and professional. They talked me through each test they did explaining everything in detail making the process easier. The range of options they have are then explained and I came away feeling reassured and happy.

I cannot thank Mr Brendan Cummins enough for giving me my sight back. I had same day double cataract surgery which went seamlessly. At my first appointment he identified other issues with my eyes that had been missed for years. From first appointment to surgery I have my eyesight back and my other issues are being resolved - all within 8 weeks, unbelievable. The best decision I ever made to go to the Wellington eye clinic. The process is fantastic from start to finish.Extensive testing was carried out to see what procedure I was suitable for. A suggestion was made when the Surgeon had reviewed the files,all the information was sent to me to explain the procedure including a video explaining everything. I had questions so I had a zoom call with the surgeon who answered them all and put me completely at ease. The day of the procedure was great. I arrived at the clinic .The staff are fantastic and you are totally put at ease. I had my procedure carried out by Dr Arthur Cummings.So now I am glasses free, The after care is excellent.i was brought back the day after the procedure the check that all was well , then a week later and then a month after that. There was always someone at the end of a phone if you had any queries or concerns. Excellent service and Dr Arthur is brilliant.

I was extremely sceptical and worried about having laser eye surgery. From the minute I booked and arrived at the clinic, I felt looked after. I had all my tests and scans and the staff were super. I met with mr cummings and he advised me that I had dry eyes and that he would prefer to treat it to see if there was improvement before preceding with any laser surgery. We did this , ad after 6 weeks I returned to hsve my surgery. There was no pain , I felt cared for and looked after. My recovery was really quick and most importantly, my sight is perfect. No more glasses ! Im sorry I did not do this years ago.
This clinic, it's staff and Dr Arthur Cummings are nothing short of SUPERB! I wish I could give a higher rating than 5-stars! Before attending the Wellington eye studio I went to a cheaper practice where they did a quick examination and told me that my cornea was too thin. So I decided to seek a second opinion at the Wellington Eye Clinic and my word, what a difference. They examined my eyes in about 8 different ways, which allowed them to realised that my prescription on my glasses was actually slightly too strong. Although my corneas were indeed thin, their technology and processes meant that I COULD get LASIK! So I went in and 15 minutes later, like an absolute miracle, I could see. It has now been about 5 months and my eyes are perfect. They continue to follow up and check that all is well. Honestly, they are possibly the best run unit in all of Ireland. Bravo! and thank you to the entire team!

From the initial visit to reception at the clinic I found the staff courteous and pleasent which continued throughout my visits for the various reviews. The skill and professionalism extended was excellent and the end result tremendous. The timeframe and duration of each visit was efficiently undertaken and carried out.
I had an immaculate ICL implant surgery with extreme short-sightedness ( beyond the pale) performed by Dr. Arthur Cummings. Amazing! I’m one week from LASIK by Mr Arthur Cummings and it has been completely live changing. Freedom from glasses is what I wanted and got but what I did not expect was the absolute amazing view of the world I now have. Maria Gallardo, Optometrist met with me a couple of times before the procedure to test my suitability for the procedure and she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic individuals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I can not say enough good things about the wellington eye clinic<br><br>I got both eyes lasered, the first in 2020 and the second in 2021 and I received such amazing care and I loved the results, my only regret was that I didn’t do it sooner!<br><br>Recently I had some visual issues due to an autoimmune disease I have and I contacted the wellington eye clinic even though I haven’t been an active patient for over 4 years and they couldn’t have done enough for me. I had complete lens replacement in January this year. From my very first visit for a consultation to the last appointment a few months after the procedure, I found all the staff to be highly efficient and very capable. Excellent service with thorough professional follow-up. All stages of the process are fully explained and Mr Cummings put me at ease during the surgery with his calm professionalism. My eyesight is now really great.<br>I would offer one piece of advice. In general I feel a patient might be somewhat anxious for a number of weeks after surgery and to mitigate this it might be helpful if they understood their eyes and eyesight need 3 months to really bed in before the full benefit is realised. In my case, after the 3 months my eyesight was first class!
Quick appointment. Operation less than a month later. After eye cover was removed, I could see that my vision had improved significantly.
A long deferred decision to have this lens replacement procedure. 1 year on at this stage I'm so glad I did. Brendan and the team could not have been more supportive, reassuring and prefessional. No regrets only gratitude to a great team with whom I felt very safe in their care.
I was very excited when laser eye correction first came out but was put off when a friend had their eyes done in a UK clinic so I ended up waiting years to find a procedure that would enable me to read and drive without glasses, then one day as I was searching for an eye test I came across the Wellington eye clinic I watched all the videos on their website and decided to book an appointment, my first consultation was extremely thorough and I was given documentation detailing all of the options available to me, I decided to have laser eye surgery with Dr. Cummings the surgery was over in minutes and totally painless, the team checked in on me during my recovery, I could read perfectly without glasses the following day, I couldn't believe it and it has been the best experience ever, I would highly recommend this clinic if you are considering any sort of eye procedures. Their aftercare is second to none, professional care from start to finish the way it should be, the staff are lovely, patient and kind I can't speak highly enough about the Wellington eye clinic.

The Wellington clinic comes highly recommended and I found my experience justified that.<br>My LASIK surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results.<br>I am still having some issues with Halo's at night and slight blurring in low light conditions but I have a follow up appointment and am hoping this can be sorted by some enhancement procedure.

I am a Patient of Wellington Eye Clinic for over 25 years. Initially my Doctor was Richard Corkin who performed Lasek Surgery in my right eye and was very successful. I have been attending Dr Arthur Cummings since Dr Corkin's Retirement and he has been amazing. He has carried out some procedures together with Cateract surgery in both eyes and very successful. Overall my experience of the Wellington Eye Clinic is excellent and I would highly recommend it. The staff are also most professional, friendly and helpful.

I was actually quite nervous the morning of the surgery. Mr Cummings spoke to me beforehand and explained everything. Totally put me at ease.
The initial consultation was extremely thorough, and I was sent off with documentation detailing all of the options available to me with no pressure put on me to make a decision there and then. The aftercare is second to none. I had a few issues afterwards and they were extremely supportive and I went back for a few more consultations at no cost to me. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot believe that my new vision allows me to write this review without searching for my glasses or contact lenses which I have heavily depended on for the past 28 years. (My prescription was quite high at +6.00 prior to treatment). Thank you so much to Mr. Arthur Cummings for performing this life changing surgery, I will be forever grateful to you and the exceptional team that looked after me. From the moment I entered the clinic there was an immediate sense of both professionalism & warmth from the staff. After going to another eye clinic and being told I don't qualify for lens replacement, I went to the Wellington for a second opinion and they were also recommended to me. So glad I did. They are first class clinic. Very thorough, informative, professional and masters at their field. From my initial enquiry, dealing with front of house, my consultation with Una and my procedure by Arthur Cummings and the follow up with the team, it was fantastic.<br>I would highly recommend them to anyone. Had a slight residual prescription (which can happen)in my left eye and had laser on this eye. Delighted with the results. Having worn glasses as a child and depended on them more with age don't know myself now, not having to wear them. Only regrets is I didn't get the procedure sooner

Anything to do with procedures on your eyes can make you apprehensive, but from the moment I stepped inside the clinic, I felt I was in safe hands. The reception staff were welcoming. Minimal wait times to be assessed by the experienced nurses and then to have the in-depth review by the consultant. If you are considering eye treatments, make tge 1st appointment and you will understand what I mean!

I had waited for years to find a procedure that would enable me to read without reading glasses. I finally found it at the Wellington eye clinic in 2012 and it was called Kamra Vision. I am at present undergoing cataract surgery in both eyes. I had the totally painless procedure done in the clinic where Dr Arthur Cummings explain everything step by step and the following morning, I could read perfectly without glasses, I couldn't believe it and it has been the most wonderful experience over the last 10 years. I am now 72 and so have got cataracts which are being treated at the moment. Sadly the Kamra Vision isn't quite what it used to be but I can still read in bright light. I can't speak highly enough about the Wellington eye clinic, yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Everyone of the staff in the clinic are exceptional at their jobs and I wouldn't dream of trusting my eyes anywhere else.
I’ve been going to The Wellington Eye clinic since 2007 or there about - it was a very pleasant environment - I had laser treatment - which was the most spectacular treatment I’ve ever had - I’ve told many friends how it was well worth the money - I couldn’t believe how GR8 it was - it changed my everyday work environment - Every-time I had a check up - the attention I received was second to none. I still attend for further checkups after Cataract treatment in October 2022.

Dr arthur Cummings is absolutely brilliant he explains everything and answers all questions and his staff from the receptionists to all the staff that do all kinds of eye health checks to make sure that you can get the surgery are all 5 stars brilliant. I had lens replacement surgeon on my right eye on the 18th of aug and on my left eye on the 25th so far I couldnt be happier I know it all has to settle down and I'm only 2 day's since both eyes where done so I may come back and update this later but so far I'd definitely recommend getting lens replacement surgery and especially with the wellington eye clinic and Dr Arthur Cummings. I had originally thought I'll get the eyes checked and possibly go abroad to have the surgery but I'm glad i spent the xtra few euro getting it done in ireland, once I went to the wellington clinic i knew I had to stay with them and the knowledge of knowing the after care was here ...everything has been brilliant and I'm so glad I won't need glasses ever again !! My experience at the Wellington Clinic from start to finish was excellent. All the staff were so knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant.
From the first call it was professional. The receptionist was informative, knowledgeable and polite. When I arrived they had refreshments available which I happily enjoyed as I had driven up from Kerry. My apptm was to see if I was suitable for Laser eye. Unfortunately I wasn't but I was happy that after the tests I was told straight and it was explained clearly if I had it done I wouldn't get a perfect result. We went through all the different lenses to see what the result would be, but the doctor told me that none of there treatments would help me at this time. The doctor said that on 5 years time when my eyes had deteriorated more I should get them checked again.
The lovely ladies that work here are friendly and professional. They talked me through each test they did explaining everything in detail making the process easier. The range of options they have are then explained and I came away feeling reassured and happy.

The best decision I ever made to go to the Wellington eye clinic. The process is fantastic from start to finish.Extensive testing was carried out to see what procedure I was suitable for. A suggestion was made when the Surgeon had reviewed the files,all the information was sent to me to explain the procedure including a video explaining everything. I had questions so I had a zoom call with the surgeon who answered them all and put me completely at ease. The day of the procedure was great. I arrived at the clinic .The staff are fantastic and you are totally put at ease. I had my procedure carried out by Dr Arthur Cummings.So now I am glasses free, The after care is excellent.i was brought back the day after the procedure the check that all was well , then a week later and then a month after that. I was extremely sceptical and worried about having laser eye surgery. From the minute I booked and arrived at the clinic, I felt looked after. I had all my tests and scans and the staff were super. I met with mr cummings and he advised me that I had dry eyes and that he would prefer to treat it to see if there was improvement before preceding with any laser surgery. We did this , ad after 6 weeks I returned to hsve my surgery. There was no pain , I felt cared for and looked after. My recovery was really quick and most importantly, my sight is perfect. No more glasses ! Im sorry I did not do this years ago.
This clinic, it's staff and Dr Arthur Cummings are nothing short of SUPERB! I wish I could give a higher rating than 5-stars! Before attending the Wellington eye studio I went to a cheaper practice where they did a quick examination and told me that my cornea was too thin. So I decided to seek a second opinion at the Wellington Eye Clinic and my word, what a difference. They examined my eyes in about 8 different ways, which allowed them to realised that my prescription on my glasses was actually slightly too strong. Although my corneas were indeed thin, their technology and processes meant that I COULD get LASIK! So I went in and 15 minutes later, like an absolute miracle, I could see. It has now been about 5 months and my eyes are perfect. They continue to follow up and check that all is well. Honestly, they are possibly the best run unit in all of Ireland. Bravo! and thank you to the entire team!

Freedom from glasses is what I wanted and got but what I did not expect was the absolute amazing view of the world I now have. Maria Gallardo, Optometrist met with me a couple of times before the procedure to test my suitability for the procedure and she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic individuals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My eyesight is now really great.<br>I would offer one piece of advice. In general I feel a patient might be somewhat anxious for a number of weeks after surgery and to mitigate this it might be helpful if they understood their eyes and eyesight need 3 months to really bed in before the full benefit is realised. In my case, after the 3 months my eyesight was first class!

I was very excited when laser eye correction first came out but was put off when a friend had their eyes done in a UK clinic so I ended up waiting years to find a procedure that would enable me to read and drive without glasses, then one day as I was searching for an eye test I came across the Wellington eye clinic I watched all the videos on their website and decided to book an appointment, my first consultation was extremely thorough and I was given documentation detailing all of the options available to me, I decided to have laser eye surgery with Dr. Cummings the surgery was over in minutes and totally painless, the team checked in on me during my recovery, I could read perfectly without glasses the following day, I couldn't believe it and it has been the best experience ever, I would highly recommend this clinic if you are considering any sort of eye procedures. The Wellington clinic comes highly recommended and I found my experience justified that.<br>My LASIK surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results.<br>I am still having some issues with Halo's at night and slight blurring in low light conditions but I have a follow up appointment and am hoping this can be sorted by some enhancement procedure.

I am a Patient of Wellington Eye Clinic for over 25 years. Initially my Doctor was Richard Corkin who performed Lasek Surgery in my right eye and was very successful. I have been attending Dr Arthur Cummings since Dr Corkin's Retirement and he has been amazing. He has carried out some procedures together with Cateract surgery in both eyes and very successful. Overall my experience of the Wellington Eye Clinic is excellent and I would highly recommend it. The staff are also most professional, friendly and helpful.

I was actually quite nervous the morning of the surgery. Mr Cummings spoke to me beforehand and explained everything. Totally put me at ease.
The initial consultation was extremely thorough, and I was sent off with documentation detailing all of the options available to me with no pressure put on me to make a decision there and then. The aftercare is second to none. I had a few issues afterwards and they were extremely supportive and I went back for a few more consultations at no cost to me. I would highly recommend them.
I had the Allotex Corneal Inlay procedure in August 2024. The care I received from the Wellington Eye Clinic was excellent. All the staff that I dealt with were courteous, expert and focused on delivering an excellent outcome for me. After going to another eye clinic and being told I don't qualify for lens replacement, I went to the Wellington for a second opinion and they were also recommended to me. So glad I did. They are first class clinic. Very thorough, informative, professional and masters at their field. From my initial enquiry, dealing with front of house, my consultation with Una and my procedure by Arthur Cummings and the follow up with the team, it was fantastic.<br>I would highly recommend them to anyone. Had a slight residual prescription (which can happen)in my left eye and had laser on this eye. Delighted with the results. Having worn glasses as a child and depended on them more with age don't know myself now, not having to wear them. Only regrets is I didn't get the procedure sooner
I cant praise the wellington clinic enough, they are amazing and i have been dealing with them for past 12 years. I recently had laser surgery in one eye again due to a medical issue with one eye and Mr cummings dealt with me again and his kindness i will never forget as i was very worried as had complicated past history.<br>All staff were so kind and i wouldn’t go anywhere else because they r all amazing.

Great experience with Arthur Cummings and all the team at the Wellington Eye Clinic. In March 2024 I got custom lens replacement (CLR) on both eyes. Almost a year later I can it was the best decision I ever made. I have such freedom now to live my life without glasses. Thank you!

Anything to do with procedures on your eyes can make you apprehensive, but from the moment I stepped inside the clinic, I felt I was in safe hands. The reception staff were welcoming. Minimal wait times to be assessed by the experienced nurses and then to have the in-depth review by the consultant. If you are considering eye treatments, make tge 1st appointment and you will understand what I mean!
My experience was very good because the Clinic explained every step of the procedure and provided excellent pre and post surgery guidance. The staff were very professional and reassuring. It was the correct decision for me to have the surgery.

I had waited for years to find a procedure that would enable me to read without reading glasses. I finally found it at the Wellington eye clinic in 2012 and it was called Kamra Vision. I am at present undergoing cataract surgery in both eyes. I had the totally painless procedure done in the clinic where Dr Arthur Cummings explain everything step by step and the following morning, I could read perfectly without glasses, I couldn't believe it and it has been the most wonderful experience over the last 10 years. I am now 72 and so have got cataracts which are being treated at the moment. Sadly the Kamra Vision isn't quite what it used to be but I can still read in bright light. I can't speak highly enough about the Wellington eye clinic, yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Everyone of the staff in the clinic are exceptional at their jobs and I wouldn't dream of trusting my eyes anywhere else.
I’ve been going to The Wellington Eye clinic since 2007 or there about - it was a very pleasant environment - I had laser treatment - which was the most spectacular treatment I’ve ever had - I’ve told many friends how it was well worth the money - I couldn’t believe how GR8 it was - it changed my everyday work environment - Every-time I had a check up - the attention I received was second to none. I still attend for further checkups after Cataract treatment in October 2022.
I would highly recommend the Wellington Eye Clinic to anyone who is considering getting laser eye surgery. All staff members throughout my multiple visits were very friendly and the level of care I received was amazing. I was definitely a nervous patient but the surgery itself felt like a breeze.
