What to expect with the surgery
A quick, gentle, and minimally invasive procedure performed under topical, eye-drop anesthesia.
In just 15 minutes, this procedure is completed in three precise steps:
A flap is created on your eye’s surface using laser technology.
The collagen implant is carefully positioned above your pupil.
The flap is closed, allowing natural healing and fast recovery.
What to expect with the recovery
Next morning: Your eye feels comfortable. You will already notice improvement in near vision but may still be somewhat blurred.
1 month: Vision continues to improve as your eyes and brain naturally adapt to your new visual balance.
3 months: Reading vision is typically very good, including intermediate tasks (such as using a laptop). With both eyes open, distance vision usually appears excellent while maintaining strong near vision.

The Allotex TransForm™ inlay is implanted in one eye only- this fee includes LASIK in this eye if required. If LASIK is required in the other eye, a fee of €2,800 applies.
