The best decision I ever made to go to the Wellington eye clinic. The process is fantastic from start to finish.Extensive testing was carried out to see what procedure I was suitable for. A suggestion was made when the Surgeon had reviewed the files,all the information was sent to me to explain the procedure including a video explaining everything. I had questions so I had a zoom call with the surgeon who answered them all and put me completely at ease. The day of the procedure was great. I arrived at the clinic .The staff are fantastic and you are totally put at ease. I had my procedure carried out by Dr Arthur Cummings.So now I am glasses free, The after care is excellent.i was brought back the day after the procedure the check that all was well , then a week later and then a month after that. There was always someone at the end of a phone if you had any queries or concerns. Excellent service and Dr Arthur is brilliant.

I was extremely sceptical and worried about having laser eye surgery. From the minute I booked and arrived at the clinic, I felt looked after. I had all my tests and scans and the staff were super. I met with mr cummings and he advised me that I had dry eyes and that he would prefer to treat it to see if there was improvement before preceding with any laser surgery. We did this , ad after 6 weeks I returned to hsve my surgery. There was no pain , I felt cared for and looked after. My recovery was really quick and most importantly, my sight is perfect. No more glasses ! Im sorry I did not do this years ago.
This clinic, it's staff and Dr Arthur Cummings are nothing short of SUPERB! I wish I could give a higher rating than 5-stars! Before attending the Wellington eye studio I went to a cheaper practice where they did a quick examination and told me that my cornea was too thin. So I decided to seek a second opinion at the Wellington Eye Clinic and my word, what a difference. They examined my eyes in about 8 different ways, which allowed them to realised that my prescription on my glasses was actually slightly too strong. Although my corneas were indeed thin, their technology and processes meant that I COULD get LASIK! So I went in and 15 minutes later, like an absolute miracle, I could see. It has now been about 5 months and my eyes are perfect. They continue to follow up and check that all is well. Honestly, they are possibly the best run unit in all of Ireland. Bravo! and thank you to the entire team!

His excellence, his warm-hearted art, his attitude to perfection are well known and convinced me to give my eyes to his hands. Also, his staff and colleagues are so kind and care about absolutely everything, that I just felt like visiting my family rather than a clinic. The procedure lead to a perfect result. Today for more than 40 years it is the first time, that I am able to look at my environment without any prosthesis. It is an overwhelming experience, and still after a week I sit down and only enjoy looking – at everything: I do not read the newspaper, but look at the contrasts changing on the paper in the light and those little particles in the material. It was three days after LASIK that I could do my work as a microsurgeon again, everything worked perfectly. I am an experienced eye surgeon myself, I had to consider, where I should visit to perform the procedure. For many years I was using contact lenses, but these were no longer good for me. As I have known Dr Arthur Cummings and the Wellington Eye Clinic for many years, I decided to visit Dr Cummings. His excellence, his warm-hearted art, his attitude to perfection are well known and convinced me to give my eyes to his hands. Also, his staff and colleagues are so kind and care about absolutely everything, that I just felt like visiting my family rather than a clinic. The procedure lead to a perfect result. Today for more than 40 years it is the first time, that I am able to look at my environment without any prosthesis. It is an overwhelming experience, and still after a week I sit down and only enjoy looking – at everything: I do not read the newspaper, but look at the contrasts changing on the paper in the light and those little particles in the material. It was three days after LASIK that I could do my work as a microsurgeon again, everything worked perfectly. As a result, I am convinced, the Wellington Eye Clinic and Dr Arthur Cummings are clearly recommended.

Everything was very well organised- totally professional. I felt very well informed both before and after the operation, including detailed verbal and written instructions. When you consider I was going in for 2 operations, the experience was unstressful - I felt very relaxed. The operation was a complete success- I no longer need glasses and my eyesight is excellent for both distance & reading.

From the age of two, I wore glasses. At first it didn’t bother me; I was just a small child blissfully unaware of insecurities.
