My experience at the Wellington Clinic from start to finish was excellent. All the staff were so knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant.
From the first call it was professional. The receptionist was informative, knowledgeable and polite. When I arrived they had refreshments available which I happily enjoyed as I had driven up from Kerry. My apptm was to see if I was suitable for Laser eye. Unfortunately I wasn't but I was happy that after the tests I was told straight and it was explained clearly if I had it done I wouldn't get a perfect result. We went through all the different lenses to see what the result would be, but the doctor told me that none of there treatments would help me at this time. The doctor said that on 5 years time when my eyes had deteriorated more I should get them checked again.
The lovely ladies that work here are friendly and professional. They talked me through each test they did explaining everything in detail making the process easier. The range of options they have are then explained and I came away feeling reassured and happy.

At my first appointment he identified other issues with my eyes that had been missed for years. From first appointment to surgery I have my eyesight back and my other issues are being resolved - all within 8 weeks, unbelievable. The best decision I ever made to go to the Wellington eye clinic. The process is fantastic from start to finish.Extensive testing was carried out to see what procedure I was suitable for. A suggestion was made when the Surgeon had reviewed the files,all the information was sent to me to explain the procedure including a video explaining everything. I had questions so I had a zoom call with the surgeon who answered them all and put me completely at ease. The day of the procedure was great. I arrived at the clinic .The staff are fantastic and you are totally put at ease. I had my procedure carried out by Dr Arthur Cummings.So now I am glasses free, The after care is excellent.i was brought back the day after the procedure the check that all was well , then a week later and then a month after that. There was always someone at the end of a phone if you had any queries or concerns. Excellent service and Dr Arthur is brilliant.

I had laser eye surgery with Mr. Arthur Cummings in 2008. Within minutes I knew I was in the best hands — and 17 years later, I’m still grateful for the life-changing results and the care of an exceptional surgeon.
Everything was very well organised- totally professional. I felt very well informed both before and after the operation, including detailed verbal and written instructions. When you consider I was going in for 2 operations, the experience was unstressful - I felt very relaxed. The operation was a complete success- I no longer need glasses and my eyesight is excellent for both distance & reading.

Amazing! I’m one week from LASIK by Mr Arthur Cummings and it has been completely live changing. Freedom from glasses is what I wanted and got but what I did not expect was the absolute amazing view of the world I now have. Maria Gallardo, Optometrist met with me a couple of times before the procedure to test my suitability for the procedure and she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic individuals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She completely put me at ease and gave me huge confidence in the clinic. If you are in anyway considering this procedure I’d recommend that you have an assessment here.
I can not say enough good things about the wellington eye clinic I got both eyes lasered, the first in 2020 and the second in 2021 and I received such amazing care and I loved the results, my only regret was that I didn’t do it sooner! Recently I had some visual issues due to an autoimmune disease I have and I contacted the wellington eye clinic even though I haven’t been an active patient for over 4 years and they couldn’t have done enough for me. In particular Caitriona and Ciara were so helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much. Losing your sight suddenly is extremely scary but Dr.Maria and Dr.Brendan were so kind, helpful and generous with their time to help me with my case even though it was completely unrelated to laser eye surgery. I really thank the wellington eye clinic from the bottom of my heart for everything they’ve done for me, I will continue to recommend them to friends, family and anyone who will listen to me! I heard of the Wellington Eye Clinic by word of mouth. My own experience of the Wellington Eye Clinic was excellent. The professionals are knowledgeable, expert and caring. The pros and cons of potential procedures were explained in detail so that on the day of the procedure I was confident that I was in safe hands. I am delighted with the result and have no hesitation in recommending Wellington Eye Clinic.
Excellent service with thorough professional follow-up. All stages of the process are fully explained and Mr Cummings put me at ease during the surgery with his calm professionalism. My eyesight is now really great. I would offer one piece of advice. In general I feel a patient might be somewhat anxious for a number of weeks after surgery and to mitigate this it might be helpful if they understood their eyes and eyesight need 3 months to really bed in before the full benefit is realised. In my case, after the 3 months my eyesight was first class!
A long deferred decision to have this lens replacement procedure. 1 year on at this stage I'm so glad I did. Brendan and the team could not have been more supportive, reassuring and prefessional. No regrets only gratitude to a great team with whom I felt very safe in their care.

My experience at the Wellington Eye Clinic was very positive. I had cataracts in both eyes operated on and following about a month using eyedrops my sight was vastly improved
The Wellington clinic comes highly recommended and I found my experience justified that. My LASIK surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results. I am still having some issues with Halo's at night and slight blurring in low light conditions but I have a follow up appointment and am hoping this can be sorted by some enhancement procedure.
I was recommend to the Wellington Eye clinic to get my cataract removed after I had my eyes tested and I have to say I had a great experience, the staff were brilliant and the operation was carried out very professionally and my eyesight is now great, I would recommend the clinic to anyone with eye problems.

I am a Patient of Wellington Eye Clinic for over 25 years. Initially my Doctor was Richard Corkin who performed Lasek Surgery in my right eye and was very successful. I have been attending Dr Arthur Cummings since Dr Corkin's Retirement and he has been amazing. He has carried out some procedures together with Cateract surgery in both eyes and very successful. Overall my experience of the Wellington Eye Clinic is excellent and I would highly recommend it. The staff are also most professional, friendly and helpful.

After going to another eye clinic and being told I don't qualify for lens replacement, I went to the Wellington for a second opinion and they were also recommended to me. So glad I did. They are first class clinic. Very thorough, informative, professional and masters at their field. From my initial enquiry, dealing with front of house, my consultation with Una and my procedure by Arthur Cummings and the follow up with the team, it was fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Had a slight residual prescription (which can happen)in my left eye and had laser on this eye. Delighted with the results. Having worn glasses as a child and depended on them more with age don't know myself now, not having to wear them. Only regrets is I didn't get the procedure sooner
I cant praise the wellington clinic enough, they are amazing and i have been dealing with them for past 12 years. I recently had laser surgery in one eye again due to a medical issue with one eye and Mr cummings dealt with me again and his kindness i will never forget as i was very worried as had complicated past history. Maria Gallardo, Optometrist met with me a couple of times before the procedure to test my suitability for the procedure and she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic individuals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She completely put me at ease and gave me huge confidence in the clinic. If you are in anyway considering this procedure I’d recommend that you have an assessment here.
I can not say enough good things about the wellington eye clinic I got both eyes lasered, the first in 2020 and the second in 2021 and I received such amazing care and I loved the results, my only regret was that I didn’t do it sooner! Recently I had some visual issues due to an autoimmune disease I have and I contacted the wellington eye clinic even though I haven’t been an active patient for over 4 years and they couldn’t have done enough for me. In particular Caitriona and Ciara were so helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much. Losing your sight suddenly is extremely scary but Dr.Maria and Dr.Brendan were so kind, helpful and generous with their time to help me with my case even though it was completely unrelated to laser eye surgery. Excellent service with thorough professional follow-up. All stages of the process are fully explained and Mr Cummings put me at ease during the surgery with his calm professionalism. My eyesight is now really great. I would offer one piece of advice. In general I feel a patient might be somewhat anxious for a number of weeks after surgery and to mitigate this it might be helpful if they understood their eyes and eyesight need 3 months to really bed in before the full benefit is realised. In my case, after the 3 months my eyesight was first class!
A long deferred decision to have this lens replacement procedure. 1 year on at this stage I'm so glad I did. Brendan and the team could not have been more supportive, reassuring and prefessional. No regrets only gratitude to a great team with whom I felt very safe in their care.

The Wellington clinic comes highly recommended and I found my experience justified that. My LASIK surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results. I am still having some issues with Halo's at night and slight blurring in low light conditions but I have a follow up appointment and am hoping this can be sorted by some enhancement procedure.

I am a Patient of Wellington Eye Clinic for over 25 years. Initially my Doctor was Richard Corkin who performed Lasek Surgery in my right eye and was very successful. I have been attending Dr Arthur Cummings since Dr Corkin's Retirement and he has been amazing. He has carried out some procedures together with Cateract surgery in both eyes and very successful. Overall my experience of the Wellington Eye Clinic is excellent and I would highly recommend it. The staff are also most professional, friendly and helpful.

After going to another eye clinic and being told I don't qualify for lens replacement, I went to the Wellington for a second opinion and they were also recommended to me. So glad I did. They are first class clinic. Very thorough, informative, professional and masters at their field. From my initial enquiry, dealing with front of house, my consultation with Una and my procedure by Arthur Cummings and the follow up with the team, it was fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Had a slight residual prescription (which can happen)in my left eye and had laser on this eye. Delighted with the results. Having worn glasses as a child and depended on them more with age don't know myself now, not having to wear them. Only regrets is I didn't get the procedure sooner
I cant praise the wellington clinic enough, they are amazing and i have been dealing with them for past 12 years. I recently had laser surgery in one eye again due to a medical issue with one eye and Mr cummings dealt with me again and his kindness i will never forget as i was very worried as had complicated past history. All staff were so kind and i wouldn’t go anywhere else because they r all amazing.
